A Study of the Cylindrical Collapse of Charged Fluid in presence of dissipative effects

Although classical considerations rule out the existence of physical objects with large amounts of charge, yet new mechanisms have emerged in the recent years which allow for the presence of huge electric charge in objects collapsing under the effect of self gravity. There have been some efforts in the study of cylindrical collapse of charged matter in the recent years, but a lot more need to be achieved. In this work we have considered the collapse of charged fluid under the effect of dissipation and have obtained some solutions. We end our note with some remarks on our ongoing studies.
