PROFESSOR SUBENOY CHAKRABORTY

In this talk the speaker consider thermodynamics of the Universe bounded by event horizon. The Hawking temperature is modified on the event horizon and both the thermodynamical laws are shown to be valid on the horizon.Also the thermodynamical law and the Einstein field equations are shown to be equivalent on the horizon. Finally, a modification to Bekenstein entropy has been proposed and it is shown to have a logarithmic correction to entropy.
