Some general properties of rotating black holes in a generic F(R) gravity theory

In this talk the speaker address rotating Killing horizons admitted in generic $F(R)$ gravity theories, in which the Ricci scalar could be a function of the radial and polar coordinates. He will give proofs of the null energy condition and the zeroth law of black hole mechanics on such horizons. He will also discuss some results on the no hair theorems pertaining the uniqueness properties of such black holes. Next, he will mention a couple of other works in preparation or in progress, chiefly related to the field theory in de Sitter space and thermodynamics of general null surfaces.
