GMRT observations of Venus

Venus has surface temperature of ~ 735 K due to the greenhouse effect as a result of 95% CO in its atmosphere. After description of previous investigations of Venus from space probes and ground radio telescopes, I would describe metrewave observations made with the GMRT that indicate that radiation arises from the sub-surface of Venus as a result of its skin depth. Our results indicate that heat flows from the surface to lower depths but there is no existing model to explain the heat flow from the surface to lower depths. I would describe our toy model to explain the GMRT observations. I would then briefly describe a radiation transfer model that is being worked out by a scientist from ISRO to explain the GMRT observations.
