With the recent observations of gravitational waves by LIGO we are now entering into an era of gravitational wave astronomy. Accurate and precise calibration of LIGO detectors is crucial for extracting astrophysical and cosmological model parameters from these and future observations. In this talk, the speaker will describe methods currently used to calibrate advanced LIGO detectors and show some results from recent observing runs. In the process, he will also try to show some of the complexities of these detectors.
