Errors and correlations, in big data science, with nuclear data covariance, as example

Error analysis in data science is generic to all areas of observational science in human civilization. Error analysis including covariance is also an important part of cutting edge experiments in all branches of basic and applied science, technology, health care and economics. Nurturing indigenous evaluation of basic data which include error specifications and correlations (covariance) for advanced big data science applications is an essential base technology effort. This talk briefly reviews the interesting work being performed in India to promote study of generation and propagation of errors and their correlations, taking nuclear data covariance, in the Indian context, as example.
