| Some Novel Features of Spacetime Torsion and its Astrophysical Implications |

In this talk, the speaker will discuss some novel thermodynamic features in presence of spacetime torsion. In particular, he will demonstrate that the black hole entropy does not get corrections even when spacetime torsion is brought into the picture. Having established such counter-intuitive features, he will discuss some astrophysical implications of the presence of torsion in the context of strong gravitational lensing. |
