DR. SEEMA SATIN

The speaker will begin with an introduction to Stochastic gravity and related issues about the current work in this area. She will then discuss issues related to calculation of the Noise Kernel in ultrastatic spacetimes and finally present her calculations and results for self similar Tolman Bondi metric. Her results show divergence of the Noise Kernel (for a particular non-coincident limit). In the last part of the talk, she will address issues related to this divergence and mention directions for further study.
