Constraining the Nature of Dark Matter and Reionization Using the Lyman-Alpha Forest

The Lyman-alpha forest is a sensitive probe of the properties of dark matter affecting the clustering of matter at small scales as well as the ionization and thermal history of the Intergalactic Medium. I describe the status of disentangling these effects to obtain robust limits on warm and fuzzy dark matter.
