Post-doctoral Positions - under following research areas

(1) Cosmology with Gravitational lensing:

We seek a candidate for a postdoctoral position to work on strong gravitational lensing of transients and multi-source plane lens systems to work with Dr Anupreeta More on the project "Cosmology with Gravitational lensing". The candidate will develop methodologies and run pipelines to detect gravitational lens systems on mock and real data from experiments such as the Rubin LSST.

Expertise in programming is required and experience with data analysis will be preferred. Candidates with experience in gravitational lensing and transient sources (e.g. Supernovae, Kilonovae and GW) will have added advantage. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in the Rubin LSST collaboration, interact and collaborate with the members.

The initial appointment will be for two years with the possibility of renewal for a third year based on performance. The salary and HRA will be for that of a Research Associate-I as per the latest DST norms.
