| DISCOVERING GALAXIES DURING THE REIONIZATION EPOCH |

The Reionization epoch marks the transition from a neutral intergalactic medium to the ionized and transparent universe. While there are only a few spectroscopically confirmed galaxies at redshift z~7, there are several candidate galaxies at z>7, identified from space-based and ground-based surveys using broabdband imaging. The speaker will present current efforts in identifying more candidate galaxies at z~7 and z~8, using narrow-band and medium-band imaging and their advantages over broadband imaging. |
