A student-filled auditorium for a fun-filled lecture

The IUCAA outreach team was a part of the World record for the "Largest Astrophysics Lesson" that is officially recorded. I delivered the lecture titled "Spectra: from daily life to Astrophysics". 1598 school students qualified for the record although the total attendees were beyond 2000. They got a lesson and a Hands-on in making a DIY spectroscope - a very important tool of Astronomers. It was so much fun with a thousand impromptu spectroscopists looking around at light sources figuring out the Science behind their light emissions.
