Naresh was so simple that one can reach him very easily. Whenever I visited IUCAA, I had to meet him and discussed with him on the progress of our research. I lost one of the well wisher.

I had an opportunity to collaborate with him in Cosmology and Relativistic Astrophysics.

We respect the departed soul and the visit to North Bengal University in June 09 - 11, 2025, was a memorable meet to all of us in the North Eastern India.

I join his family in their grief.

It is very difficult to believe the devastating truth about Paddy's sudden and untimely demise. I knew him since since 1995-96 and it was a privilege learning, discussing and interacting with him.
He will always be fondly remembered as someone who lived and worked in India on topics that he believed to be important and enjoyed working on. His immense output in terms of books, papers on physics, articles on science, history, mathematics.... remains with us and will keep him alive among future generations too, in the years to come.
